I'm happily single and childfree, and am the proud owner of Dexter Dogge and a bunch of tropical fish.
My hobbies and interests are as listed above - my huge love is cricket, though. I really enjoy reading - you're more likely to find me curled up on the sofa with a good book of an evening than down the pub, but that's probably because of my age ;-)
My pet hates are liars, cheats, hunting and any form of cruelty to animals.
My friends are important to me, and I get really pissed off when people hurt them. This sometimes causes me to be an utter bitch, but thankfully it doesn't happen too often.
As for LJ - my journal is somewhere where I write about my everyday comings and goings, where I comment on stuff in the news or sport, and where I sometimes vent about stuff that pisses me off. I don't expect everyone to agree with me, but I do expect them to respect my opinions, and anyone that doesn't, or who causes drama on my journal, will be shown the door.
A lot of my journal is public, but I do post "friends only" sometimes as well. If anyone decides they'd like to add me to their f-list that's fine, but I don't always add people back so don't be offended if I don't. Similarly, if I add someone to my f-list, that doesn't mean they'll always be there - again, very rarely is that anything personal.
And I think that's all you need to know!
